How do I change the login password for Zoho?


Zoho Mail provides options to change or reset your password depending on whether you remember your current one. Follow the appropriate steps below.

A. Change Account Password (If You Know Your Current Password)

You can easily update your password from the General Settings in Zoho Mail.

Steps:

  1. Log in to  www.zoho.com/mail
  2. Click ⚙️ Settings → General
  3. Select Change Password
  4. Enter your Current Password and New Password
  5. Click Save to confirm the changes

 

B. Reset Password (If You Forgot Your Password)

Depending on your account type, follow the steps below.

 

For Super Admins:

  1. Log in to  www.zoho.com/mail as Super Administrator
  2. Go to Control Panel → User Details
  3. Select the user and click Reset Password
  4. Enter and confirm the New Password, then provide your Admin Password for verification

 

For Personal Users:

  1. Click Forgot Password
  2. Enter your Login Email Address (primary non-Zoho email)
  3. A Password Reset Link will be sent to your registered primary email address

Tips:

  • Use a strong password with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
  • Avoid using previously used or easily guessable passwords.
  • If you’re an organization admin, ensure users have updated recovery emails.
